Are you willing to pay taxes but can’t stand the long lines? Or worse, the sickening rage-inducing traffic? We all do! With the new online tax payment portal, you can now pay inside the comforts of your home or, for us digital nomads, anywhere in the world!
Open 24/7, the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) in partnership with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) launched a website for our convenience. You can now pay using a credit card or a debit card in www.dbppaytax.com.
The Duterte Administration promised audacious projects within his term. These projects composed of infrastructure upgrades that will bring convenience to the Filipino public. These include multiple train lines and connecting thoroughfares across the country.
With this online payment portal, it is expected to increase BIR’s collection to fund these much-needed projects.
