Four Websites That Allow You to Send Gifts to the Philippines From AU

Yep, it’s another Christmas-oriented article. (It is December, after all, and we are a Filipino company, so….)

Anyway, we’ve covered Canberra’s Christmas markets and our own holiday bazaars. So, today, we’ll be talking about something in between.

With so many Filipino migrants in Australia, it’s only natural that many of them are flying home for the holidays. But what if you simply can’t do that this year? Or if, *gasp!*, you forgot to put together a balikbayan box?

Well, as with many things, the Internet has a solution. Thus, we’ve compiled a list of websites that will enable you to send presents to your loved ones in the Philippines without having to leave your home or office Down Under:

  1. ExpressRegalo.
  2. 1-ExpressRegalo

From leather goods to stuffed toys and Belgian chocolates, ExpressRegalo has a plethora of gifts for different celebrations. They usually offer next-day deliveries for Metro Manila and other areas, with delivery hours from 11 AM-5 PM.

To ensure prompt arrival, customers should schedule orders at least 24 hours in advance, preferably before 3 PM, Manila time. However, you would do well to allot longer lead times for Christmas day deliveries, just to make sure the presents arrive on time.

  3. PhilFlower.Com.
  4. 2-PhilFlower

Though they are primarily a flower shop, PhilFlower.Com also offers its clients the option to send balloons, cakes, fruit baskets, and perfume. Furthermore, all their gifts are masterfully covered in tasteful gift-wrapping paper, which is sure to delight any recipient.

Also, don’t forget to check out their Hello Kitty bouquet.

  5. GiftsnIdeas.
  6. 3-GiftsnIdeas

Like the previous two items, this website offers an assortment of cakes, chocolates, gourmet baskets, and even a handful of personalized gifts! Their doorstep delivery services don’t just apply to the Philippines either, but to “any corner of the world.”

Best of all, they’ve got 24/7 chat support!

  7. GiftGo!
  8. 4-GiftGo

Need to send flowers or a cake within the next few hours? Impossible, right? Not with GiftGo, apparently.

Not only do they deliver nationwide, but you’ll also be able to see the earliest delivery time for each item. Prices are displayed in PHP, but they accept payments via PayPal or credit card if you’re ordering from abroad.

Do note that just about all the websites above have year-round operations. Should you need to send someone anniversary flowers, a birthday gift, or a little something “just because,” any of these should suffice.

On the other hand, if you prefer to send money to the Philippines as a gift, well, that’s what we’re here for. *nudge*nudge*

Thank God for e-commerce indeed.
