Apart from having the usual full range of medical services, this hospital is also the designated pediatric trauma centre in the state and is a Nationally-Funded Centre for heart and liver transplants.
If nothing else, this children’s hospital perhaps has the best location as it’s got lots of lovely trees and natural light courtesy of the surrounding parkland of Royal Park.
4. Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital

It is also the state’s principal neurosurgery and liver transplant hospital and is estimated to treat about 420,000 patients every year.
5. Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital

With 929 beds, it’s one of the biggest hospitals in Queensland and is a major player in the clinical research and teaching fields.
